Standard Turnaroud Times

Our standard turnaround time for laundry and dry cleaning is 2 to 3 days; see grey row in table below. Express service, same day and next day, is also available. Other services like shoe repair, tailoring and alterations have longer turnaround times.

Laundry and Dry Cleaning

Laundry and dry cleaning items will be ready for delivery within 2 to 3 days as part of our standard service. If you need express service, we can deliver next day at +25% and same day at +50%

E.g. in Central London we can collect on a Monday and deliver on a Wednesday or Thursday (2 to 3 days). Delivery on Tuesday is 25% extra ('express next day') and delivery on Monday is 50% extra ('express same day').

Standard day = 24 hours from time of collection.

Alterations

Tailoring and alteration items will be ready for delivery in 5 to 7 days. However, our tailors can try and get your alterations ready for delivery within 2 to 3 days if the work requires a relatively short amount of time (e.g. shorten or lengthen trousers). This is especially true if your order also contains regular laundry and dry cleaning (which will be ready in 2 to 3 days)

Shoe Repair and Hand Wash

In table above, shoe repair and hand wash services have the same turnaround time as alterations, discussed above.

Leather and Suede

Leather and suede cleaning can take up to 14 days! However this is the maximum time. We will try to meet your chosen delivery time or contact you for another delivery time if you have chosen less then 14 days turnaround time. If your order meets twice the minimum for your postcode and your order also contains laundry and dry cleaning items; we can make two deliveries to you; one for your laundry and dry cleaning (within 2 tow 3 days) and one for your leather item(s) at a later date.

*Same Day Express and Next Day Express Service

Please contact us immediately when booking express orders online. Your order will need to be confirmed by telephone and/or email and may need to be collected before 11AM; depending on delivery time. We are not responsible for any Express orders not confirmed by a CaraClean staff member.

Express service for same day is available for regular laundry and dry cleaning items. We need at least an 8 hour turnaround time and we must collect before 11am. Order collected after 11am, may not be ready on time. Express orders booked and collected after 11AM and delivered the next day will be charged at the express rate (+50%).

If you need to cancel or change your collection and/or delivery schedule, contact us at least 60 minutes before your booked time. Sorry, but there is a re-visit charge tell me more..
